Studio KB has long been a dream, and it became a reality in March 2025. Kim, the owner and a Licensed Massage Therapist, graduated in 2023 from Medical Career & Technical College, where she studied Medical Massage Therapy. She is trained in a variety of massage techniques, including hot stones, cupping therapy, hot bamboo, prenatal, instrument-assisted soft tissue manipulation, and barefoot Ashiatsu massage. Kim pursued a career as an LMT to provide alternative methods for alleviating aches and pains through massage therapy. Joining the Studio KB team is Brittany Edgington, who brings a unique touch beyond massage. Brittany is a skilled esthetician and lash artist and provides a range of facial, waxing, and lash services. Kim and Brittany spent most their lives in Garrard County and are both 2003 graduates of Garrard County High School. Their shared roots have fostered a deep connection to the community, and they are dedicated to giving back to the place they call home. This sense of belonging and commitment is reflected in the way they run Studio KB, prioritizing not only the well-being of their clients but also supporting local causes and initiatives. Together, they have created a welcoming environment where everyone feels valued, and their passion for their work shines through in every service they offer. The commitment these two share to their crafts is evident in the serene atmosphere they've cultivated at Studio KB. The space is designed as a sanctuary for relaxation and healing, featuring soft lighting, soothing music, and the gentle scent of essential oils. Clients are greeted with warm smiles and personalized attention, ensuring every visit is a distinctive and restorative experience.
